Who We Are
JRM Consulting is a boutique, independent nonprofit fundraising consulting firm led by seasoned executives Rachael Masturzo and Jim Rude. With over 40 years of combined experience in non-profit fundraising, including more than twenty-three years of delivering specialized counsel, we are dedicated to helping organizations boost nonprofit fundraising efforts.
We intentionally partner with a select group of mission-driven organizations across multiple sectors, specializing in healthcare institutions. Our goal is to increase philanthropy through customized fundraising strategies and data-driven approaches. This focused strategy allows us to deliver highly personalized, creative, and high-impact fundraising solutions, free from the overhead and bureaucracy often found in larger firms.
Rachael Masturzo
Rachael Masturzo is a distinguished fundraising executive and strategic philanthropic advisor with over 20 years of experience leading high-impact development initiatives across the nonprofit sector. She specializes in boosting nonprofit fundraising through customized fundraising strategies, restructuring advancement operations, designing data-driven approaches, securing major and principal gifts, and guiding nonprofit leadership in solicitation training and board development.
As a former Vice President at Graham-Pelton Consulting, Rachael directed feasibility studies, campaign planning, and the execution of campaigns ranging from $4 million to $250 million. Her consultative leadership has empowered organizations to build sustainable development programs and cultivate transformational giving. Rachael's expertise in nonprofit fundraising consulting has significantly impacted various organizations.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Rachael regularly engages in industry learning through the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and other leading sector organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Psychology from Felician College.
Jim Rude
Jim Rude is a seasoned nonprofit executive with deep expertise in customized fundraising strategies, executive leadership, operations, and data analytics. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations and Analytics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Foundation, where he leverages his passion for data-informed strategy to boost nonprofit fundraising and enhance donor engagement and organizational performance.
Prior to joining NJIT, Jim served as a Senior Consultant at Graham-Pelton Consulting, where he provided nonprofit fundraising consulting to over 300 clients across the higher education, healthcare, and human services sectors. He also held key leadership roles at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO) and United Way, advancing both fundraising and operational excellence.
Jim holds an MBA in Management from Monmouth University and a BA in Business from Muhlenberg College. He maintains his CFRE credential and is committed to helping organizations.
